HELIOS Orange and Machinery for Depth Mining | 03. 08. 2011

Delivery of facilities for vertical depth mining – this is the core business of the company INCO engineering, which became one of the clients of the HELIOS Orange system by Asseco Solutions. The company was established in 1994. Its customers are predominantly foreign companies, especially from Poland and the countries of the former Soviet Union. At present INCO engineering is also expanding onto Asian markets – China, Vietnam, India etc.

Prior to the acquisition of the HELIOS system the INCO engineering employees and management had utilized another information system. In the course of time did need arise for implementing an information system for other fields of corporate activities too, which the original one failed to cover. Therefore the corporate management declared a tender, won by the HELIOS Orange system. On 1 April 2011 was the system´s implementation started. Its principal modules have been operating regularly since 30 June 2011. Other modules and functionalities are being implemented and the overall functioning of the system adjusted.

When asked what contribution he expects from the new system, Ing. Pavel Schinkmann, Head of INCO engineering Economic and Investment Section, answers: “We presume a significant improvement in the overview of the activities inside the company as well as monitoring of detailed costs. Other important features are for us the possibility of creating wages, electronic flow of documents across the company or work with dials and the interconnection of dislocated centres – Slaný and Karviná.”

After the ultimate completion of the implementation the following modules will be implemented at INCO engineering: Accounting, Treasury, Bank, Assets, Orders, Mail Records, Wages and Human Resources, Managerial Interface, Financial Analysis and Planning, Projects. 

INCO engineering

The core of the activities of the company INCO engineering lies in the sphere of technologies for vertical, tilted and horizontal mining predominantly in depth mines but also in surface ones. Its extensive production programme covers both mining machines with a frictional disc and drum mining machines of various construction types and performances of up to 2x5.500 kW, skips, cages and other transport containers of many types and sizes including accessories, cable devices, systems of mine signalling, communication systems from transport containers, fully automated filling and discharging stations of skips, systems for jamming mine vehicles into cages, dumping stations of mining vehicles, rail circuits of mining vehicles, conveyors of various types, mine fans including drive and control and many other machines and facilities. Modernizing and reconstructing older mining machinery and other facilities – both our products and machines and equipment by other producers – should be mentioned too. When such activities occur, partial systems developed and utilized with newly delivered products are used too.
